Transit Guarantee Management

Comprehensive guarantee, individual guarantee and CCG support

Every transit movement must be backed by a financial guarantee covering the potential customs debt — duty, VAT and any other charges that would apply if the goods were released for free circulation. The guarantee can be a comprehensive guarantee (CCG) covering multiple movements, an individual guarantee per movement, or a guarantee waiver for authorised low-risk traders.

We advise you on the best guarantee type for your volume, help you apply to HMRC for a Comprehensive Customs Guarantee, manage guarantee references on NCTS, and monitor your usage to make sure you never exceed your reference amount mid-movement.

How It Works

  1. 1Assess your movement volume and risk profile
  2. 2Apply for Comprehensive Customs Guarantee (CCG) if appropriate
  3. 3Reference guarantees correctly on each NCTS declaration
  4. 4Monitor guarantee usage and reconcile discharges
