T1 Transit Declarations

External transit declarations for non-Union goods under duty suspension

A T1 transit declaration is used for non-Union goods — typically goods imported from outside the EU that have not yet been released into free circulation. T1 allows these goods to move across the customs territory of the EU and CTC countries with all duties and taxes suspended until they reach their final destination.

We lodge T1 declarations on NCTS for road, sea and rail movements. Since July 2025, paper T1 documents are no longer accepted for air or rail movements — every declaration must be digital. Our team handles MRN issuance, transit guarantee referencing, and full tracking of the movement until office of destination discharge.

How It Works

  1. 1Provide commercial invoice, transport documents and consignor/consignee details
  2. 2We classify goods and prepare the T1 declaration on NCTS
  3. 3Transit guarantee referenced and MRN issued
  4. 4Movement tracked and discharged at destination
