NCTS & MRN

The New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) is the UK and EU's digital platform for managing transit declarations. Every transit movement under the Common Transit Convention must be lodged electronically — paper-based declarations are no longer accepted for air or rail since 16 July 2025.

We submit declarations on NCTS, generate the unique Master Reference Number (MRN) for each movement, and provide you with the MRN and Transit Accompanying Document immediately. We also monitor movement status in NCTS, handle any office-of-transit interventions, and confirm discharge once goods reach destination.
